The short version: Solar Puzzles is free to play, and stays free. There is one optional subscription, the Space Pass, which unlocks extra games and features. It is bought and cancelled through your app store, it renews every month until you cancel, and buying it is a decision for a grown-up.
Who we are
Solar Puzzles (the “App”) is a space-themed educational puzzle game for children, developed and published by Eximsol Sp. z o.o. (operating as UpFlyDev), Marszalkowska 115/338, 00-102 Warsaw, Poland. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) apply to your use of the App on Apple’s App Store and on Google Play.
By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the App.
Your licence to use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer or redistribute the App or any part of it, except where that right cannot be restricted by law.
The App, its artwork, its sounds and its levels remain our property or that of our licensors. Public-domain and openly licensed materials used in the App are credited in the App itself and in the project’s documentation.
The free game
Everything that has ever shipped in the free game stays free. The Space Pass adds to the App; it never takes away a game, a level, a puzzle or a feature that was previously available without paying.
The Space Pass subscription
The Space Pass is an optional monthly subscription. While it is active it unlocks additional content and features, which are described on the Space Pass screen inside the App. The pass is access for as long as it is held — it is not a permanent purchase.
- Price and period. The price and the billing period are shown in the App before you buy, in your own currency, as supplied by the app store.
- Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and your account is charged for the next period, until you cancel it.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account subscription settings or in the Google Play subscription settings, depending on where you bought it. Cancelling stops future renewals; the pass stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.
- When it ends. When the pass ends, the paid features close again and the free game continues exactly as before. Nothing you earned while the pass was active is deleted.
- Family Sharing. Where the app store supports it and you have it enabled, the pass is shared with your family group.
Payment, and who takes it
All payments are processed by Apple or by Google, depending on where you bought the App. We never see, receive or store your payment details. Your subscription is managed through your app store account, and your purchase history there is the record of it.
Purchases in the App are placed behind a check intended to confirm that an adult is present. Please make sure a child cannot make a purchase without your knowledge; both Apple and Google also provide parental controls and purchase approvals for this purpose.
Refunds
Refunds are handled entirely by the app store you bought from, under its own policy, and we have no ability to issue one directly. Requests can be made through Apple’s Report a Problem page or through Google Play’s order history. If you are in the EU or the UK, your statutory rights are unaffected by this paragraph.
Changes to the price
We may change the price of the Space Pass for new subscriptions at any time. Any change affecting an existing subscription will be made only in accordance with the rules of the app store you bought from, which include advance notice and, where required, your explicit agreement before the new price is charged. If you do not agree to a new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Changes to the App
We may add to, change or improve the App over time, including what the Space Pass contains. We will not remove content from the free game, and we will not remove a feature that is the main reason the Space Pass exists without offering a comparable one in its place.
Privacy
Solar Puzzles collects no personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full and forms part of these Terms.
No warranty, and our liability
The App is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate, safe and enjoyable, but we cannot promise that it will always be free of errors or available without interruption.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the App is limited to the amount you have paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
Apple and Google
These Terms are between you and Eximsol Sp. z o.o., not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content, and are not responsible for providing support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Meaningful changes will appear here before they take effect in the App.
